"Wonderwall" - The Fool - Jane Birkin - 60's psychedelia in London

This video is meant to set the mood and feeling of the time and nothing other than that. There is no pun intended with any junk or paraphenalia depicted in the clip. It is what my idea of a time, when caftans and fabrics were beautiful like human beings. What is a caftan? It is a long flowing garment that has long sleeves, and is ankle length. The caftan in it's original form was made of either silk or cotton and usually worn with a belt or sash around the waist or however you choose. There are no hard or fast rules to caftans or any piece of clothing in my book, the more creative, the better, bringing your own individual style and character take on them. The caftan does not have an open front, and is slipped over the head. The reason for this? I am currently working on a "caftan line" with my mum. The word "line" for the like of a much better word, I feel is too big of a phrase and it leads to high expectations, what it will be, is merely our take on a caftan that works in today's time. Pics to follow thus no pic posted as emphasis is on "our take" in the meantime I leave you with this...
